- Swiss Military only use Swiss made quartz movements from the leading producers ETA, ISA and RONDA. The mechanical watches are fitted exclusively with ETA or Valjoux movements. The cases are all very robust and made from stainless steel. (With the exceptional models of titanium) The gilt parts are plated with 5 microns. Most of the cases are fitted with a screw back assuring perfect water resistance, and all mechanical watches feature a see through case back. The dials feature safe Superluminova numbers or dots and so can be read easily in the dark. The steel bracelets are fitted with security clasps and easily shortened. All the bracelets are made from stainless steel. The leather bands are made from refined, high quality leather, carefully crafted and specially treated, so that they can also be worn safely in the water. Some of our watches have screwed crowns, for even better water protection. If you are wearing one of these watches make sure that the crown is screwed back properly after setting the time or the date.All Swiss Military watches are waterproof (water-resistant) to at least 5 ATM (50 metres) or more, very robust and fitted with a special scratch-resistant mineral glass or a scratch-proof sapphire glass. All Swiss Military watches are "Swiss made" carefully checked and tested by highly qualified specialists prior to despatch.If you want to verify the autenticity of the Swiss Military brand, it is important to know that all Swiss Military watches bear the company logo "hw", either on the dial and/or on the case back. If you wish to be sure that you are buying a genuine product, be sure to check for the "hw" logo.
